In honor of our first employee, former head of brand and a force in the industry, we launched Project Pink for our late friend Duncan as a way to give back and support the work of the Dana‑Farber Cancer Institute.
1st Pop‑Up Recovery Lounge
We used the backdrop of the Boston Marathon to welcome runners from all over the world into our first 00f0s concept shop, located on the marathon course at the corner of Hereford & Newbury Street. Our first sale — the OOriginal, of course.

We began as a team of footwear veterans — friends dating back to the athletic footwear and running shoe boom of the ’70s and ’80s. What brought us together was a desire to fill a need for footwear that could help fitness enthusiasts recover from repeated workouts on hard surfaces.
Stores are filled with athletic shoes designed to offer rebound and energy return — shoes that spring you forward when you’re exercising. What was missing was a material that could do the opposite: actually absorb shock after a workout.
Two and a half years of tireless development later, we had a breakthrough on our hands. Revolutionary foam technology combined with a biomechanically engineered footbed. We’re proud to bring you 00f0s… footwear that can truly make your hard‑working feet and body feel better.
